As you may know, the month as of right now is November. There’s an activity that goes about during these 30-or-so days called NaNoWriMo (or the National Novel Writing Month). TRotG isn’t necessarily a novel, but hey, at least we’re writing it!

…Or rewriting, anyway. Yes, you read right, we’re rewriting this story as we speak! (Type. Whatever.) And yes, it is for NaNoWriMo. We’re really horrible at keeping up deadlines, but we’re trying our hardest to meet them.

There are a lot of stuff cooking up in the background, but we’re keeping it privy for now. Chapter 1’s already ready to be posted, but we want to write more chapters before we post it. For now, sit tight and… do whatever it is demigods do. Haha.

Well, thank you very much, April, I suppose? I’m sorry if we haven’t updated in a long time, and I’m not gonna lie, we were really stoked pre-summer because we wanted to work on this project again.

But, not all good things happen. We just lost the bright flame. We were so enthusiastic when we started out, but I don’t know anymore.

I guess I’ll put out an official statement here:

The Rise Of The Gods is a project owned by Team Peanut Butter, a group of 7 young, budding writers who decided to write a novel based on Rick Riordan’s brilliant series, Percy Jackson and The Olympians. 

So far, we have published 12 chapters, and have stopped since then. We decided to stop because we have changed over the gap and change brought upon new standards.

Until we actually start again, we will continue trying to finish this project, hopefully getting somewhere. So, please bare with us, we are just amateur writers with a huge-ass mentrual flow of inspiration.

1st and foremost, no, it is not possible. By using that as your story, we’ll have to write you in as a main character, which is asking too much. We can mention your name, though putting in that much story would be a little too unfair to the others.

2nd, Aldo is Wright, err, right. (Aldo can’t be Phoenix Wright… If I’m Edgeworth, we’ll need someone AWESOME to rival me…) Lord Poseidon is being too much a man-whore. We can write you in under another Godly parent, though!

We are very very very sorry for the hiatus on writing. I swear, if only school was 2 days a week, we would definitely keep writing, heck, by now, we should have been 3/4 done. Sadly, school is being a girl dog to us all and has been hampering our creative flow. Let me tell you this, though. The moment school is done, we will cut the hiatus’s neck off and poop on it and feed it to the vultures.

So, a few more weeks to go, until The Rise of The Gods. Keep your eyes peeled!

On a side note, another announcement. Instead of writing new chapters, our first and foremost priority is to rewrite the whole story. Yep, I mean making everything LONGER, making the story more INTERESTING, and stop making Lord Poseidon such a MAN-WHORE!

Yup, even the last one was true. So, thanks all for the great moral (sometimes immoral too…) support! Hope y’all are excited for our return!

Hello, (insert name here), I saw your question just now, and here’s the major gist of the answer.

No.

I am so sorry, but Team Peanut Butter was a project by 7 friends who met up by chance in a PJO meetup. As much as it would be awesome to have more staff to help us in the editing and writing process, we just can’t risk making this project a ~*serious*~ one. We started this out of fun and wanted to end it out of fun. We’re completely fine on our own. Once more, (insert name here), I am very sorry. But we are not accepting editors and/or writers. Maybe not until Rick finds us and decides to publish our story which may or may not happen in the next 5 years.

Besides, if we wanted an extra writer/editor, we’d have said so, wouldn’t we?
